Frame's Youth Ministry Program has been playing an
important role in the life of our church family and the
community for over 15 years. We take great pride in
providing a safe and empowering environment for all youth
to participate in a program based on acceptance,
cooperation, sharing, education, and mission.
Starting in September and meeting until May, youth from 7th
to 12th grades are invited to meet on a weekly basis to
participate in a variety of fun and informative
programs. Each fall a youth committee is formed to
help map out a schedule of events. Planning committee
members suggest their interests and the group leaders help
participants establish a variety of topics and mission
projects that affect our youth in school, the communities
in which they live, and the world as a whole.
We bring in a variety of speakers on topics such as
domestic violence, alcohol / drug awareness, spirituality,
and career counseling. We provide a good mix of group
discussions, fun art projects such as tie-dye t-shirts, and
wrapping Christmas gifts for needy families through
Operation Bootstrap.
Dinner is provided to the group at 5:30pm Each week parent
volunteers with the assistance of staff prepare a
nutritious meal from a menu that the youth choose.
Frame's Youth Group meets every Wednesday during the school
year from 3:15pm until 7:15pm in the Fellowship Hall. Meals
are $3.00, which includes milk, Kool-Aid, or juice. Soda is
50 cents extra. Anyone from 7th to 12th grades is welcome
and does not have to be a member of the church to attend.
